S.T. Japan ATR/FT-IR and FT-IR Databases for ACD/Labs

S.T. Japan's leading spectral database collections are now available in ACD/UV-IR Manager format. This collection contains over 80,000 high-quality infrared and Raman spectra divided into up to 60 separate databases covering organic and inorganic compounds, polymers, surfactants, dyes, biochemicals, pesticides, forensics, and industrial chemicals. Roughly half of this data has been collected by the Japanese government as transmission spectra (known as the SDBS database). The remainder has been collected independently as ATR/FT-IR spectra by S.T. Japan and cooperatively under agreement with Smiths Detection, Inc. and Sigma-Aldrich Corp.

ATR/FTIR Aldrich-ICHEM Databases

Over 25,000 high-quality attenuated total reflectance infrared spectra of organic and inorganic compounds, as well as some polymers and industrial chemicals are commercially available in ACD/Labs format on request. This comprehensive source of ATR/FTIR spectra of compounds was compiled by ICHEM through samples from Fine Chemical manufacturers in Japan, or by the Aldrich Chemical Company.

SDBS FT-IR Spectra Databases

The SDBS FT-IR database is one of the world's largest and highest-quality FT-IR databases with over 50,000 spectra. This database or application library subsets are commercially available in ACD/Labs format on request.

This FT-IR transmission data was prepared by Japanese National Laboratories, employing rigorous procedures and sample preparation methods using either KBr, Nujol, or Liquid Film. Spectral quality was continuously checked by expert spectroscopists. To ensure that the database contains the highest purity standard samples, each sample was cross-validated by NMR and MS techniques. The database also includes polymers and commercial samples such as packaging materials and plasticizers.
